Neurorehabilitation team offers specialized programs designed for people with neurological disorders in the Intensive Care Unit, Inpatient and Outpatient Neurorehabilitation unit. Our therapy is patient-centered and we strive to maximize functional independence and improve quality of life. Neuro-department is well equipped with Balance master, Mirror therapy unit, swiss ball, wobble board, balance foam and tilt table. Our team helps you to regain mobility, functionality, balance, confidence and helps you to reintegrate into the society. Patients are given advanced neurotherapeutic techniques such as Neurodevelopmental therapy, Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and Motor relearning programme for enhancing motor control and functional recovery. Neuromuscular electrical stimulation, Constraint induced movement therapy, Mirror therapy using mirror box, various functional training equipments and peg boards. Training in parallel bars, treadmill training, simulation of community ambulation and staircase training using appropriate orthosis and walking aids as required. Fall prevention strategies, Equilibrium board training, Swiss ball exercises, Stability trainers and Balance master system. Group exercises to encourage peer participation, motivation and to make therapy sessions interactive and function based.
